Sérgio Santos was born in 1985. Inexplicably, at the age of 3, he was diagnosed with a profound hearing impairment in both ears. The people around him believe that this condition has developed his other senses.

He was born and raised in a typically matriarchal family, finding himself surrounded by photography and fashion culture. The role of women was crucial in the development of his artistic sensibility.

He was 10 years old when he got his first camera and fell in love with the “click”. While travelling with his mother, he would constantly ask her to stop to record something that had caught his eye.

Fascinated by color and light, he found in photography a way to tell visually appealing stories.

Currently he has a wide portfolio in fashion photography. Each photograph has a strong intuition and sensitivity, according to what he feels in each moment.

His work with Vogue Portugal, Elle Portugal, Wam, Neo2, Edit, Cristina, Portuguese Soul, Máxima and Happy Magazine is worth highlighting.

Sérgio collaborates with brands such as Levi Strauss, Zara, MTV Portugal, Cacharel, Calzedonia, CR7, Oysho, Massimo Dutti, Nuno Baltazar, Tezenis, Intimissimi.
